Thermally Broken Backup Systems

Thermally Broken Backup Systems

Q-Vent is a European engineering and manufacturing company specializing in rainscreen ventilated facade attachment systems. The QV platform is a coordinated family of engineered aluminum substructures — wall brackets, vertical and horizontal rails, and project-specific accessories — designed to support virtually any cladding material in a thermally broken, code-compliant assembly. Every system is built around polypropylene thermo-pads pre-assembled at the bracket-to-substrate interface, decoupling the metal substructure from the wall to reduce thermal bridging and prevent galvanic corrosion. Components are CE marked, manufactured in Sofia, Bulgaria from EU-origin materials, and stocked at a US distribution center for short lead times.

Features

  • Modular extruded aluminum platform: wall brackets, rails, and project-engineered accessories
  • Polypropylene thermo-pads pre-assembled to every wall bracket for thermal decoupling
  • QVB aluminum brackets and QTB stainless steel brackets — Passive House Certified
  • Compatible with HPL, fiber-cement, GFRC, stone, sintered stone, terracotta, glass, ACM, metal panels

Advantages

  • Built-in ¾” in/out adjustability with 2 ¼” to 12” cavity depth range
